A simplistic division of the two into separate business units that are however answering to one business logic is not the solution.<br />Any translation provider, especially LSPs and more specifically SLVs should be extremely suspicious of any technology offering coming from such a big competitor. And to pay it for funnelling valuable data into its platforms.<br />I have always been a strong advocate of independent translation technology vendors. In most cases, their naivety as to translation processes and extraneity to the translation service industry can produce real innovation.<br />Technology vendors should rely more on translation industry experts while translation service providers should be less arrogant in their conservatism, abandon the claim of educating customers and be ready to ask for the advice from consultants.<br />I know, I know, de domo sua again... :)Luigi Muziihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11617962606487603486noreply@blogger.com
